Hi everyone!

Happy April!! Wow...so much has happened since my last post! The most exciting news is that we welcomed our darling granddaughter into our family on March 22!

She is our first grandchild and we are all head over heels in love with her! Her Mommy and Daddy have named her Emily...such a sweet name...love it! I love being a Nannie and can't get enough snuggles and kisses...good thing they live just blocks away from us!!

Here's a picture of me and our little sweetie....awwww! She is a little doll, so happy and healthy, we are so lucky!!

My other news is that my knee is doing great after my knee replacement surgery...its been 7 weeks now since my surgery and I'm happy to say that I have 110% bend in my knee so far....apparently I'll only get a max of 120% so I'm doing great...the physio is really hard work but I'm determined to get that last 10%!!

I don't have anything new to show you....I seem to have lost my mojo since my operation and I'm hoping it will come back really soon...I have some new toys waiting for me in my craft room and another order is on its way, so I hope to be getting inky again really soon.

Meanwhile here's a card that I meant to share so this is a good time as this post is a kind of test post....I've been trying to figure out how to blog from my IPad, and I've bought an app called "Blogsy" and so far I love it...I'm still playing around with it, but so far two thumbs up!!!

It's a very quick but pretty card using the set called "My Friend" stamped in Tempting Turqouise and I added Dazzling Details to it. Hope you like it!

Thanks so much for stopping by to share your time with me and I also want to say thanks for being so patient while waiting for me to get back to my blogging. You are the best...big hugs!

Love Judy

  1. Congratulations Judy on you first granddaughter - I'm a Nanny too (spelled a little differently!) - I have 5!! Enjoy, I know you will, you'll have the best time of your life. Thanks also for sharing the beautiful birthday card.

  2. Well you sure do have a cutie there.
When I became a Nana for the first time, I found a love that I didn't know that I had. Not that you love them more than you do your kids but different. At least that has been that way for me as my Grand babies grew from one to five with the youngest being 7 months old.

I had just come on here to thank you for the tutorial that I found on another blog with the sweatpeas made from the butterfly punch.
Congratulation on your new Grand daughter and your knee surgery. I just subscribe to you blog but keep on loving that grandbaby as much as you can because they grow up. My oldest Grandson is graduating this year. ( I don't know how that happened) He was just a baby not long ago, it seems ;)
