<p style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 14px; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal; margin: 0px;">I made mine into a card holder, with a spot for my pens and a couple of book marks too. The patterned paper is from a One Sheet Wonder I stamped and I used Black Memento Ink on White Cardstock with my favourite stamp set ‘Flowing Flowers’. Others stamp sets used for my one sheet wonder and the cards were from Ranunculus Romance, Very Versailles, Artistically Inked, and one that I think is so overlooked…the Stitched stamp set. This set is lovely for adding an interesting border! I shaped and layered the flower to give it some dimension and make it the focal point. The leaves are hand cut. </p><p style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 14px; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal; margin: 0px;"><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEhzOHcYDJWdp-n9lYpEezMEyLq9xyH0qLh73vzmGelr13fsQIPzbAC5CpzBeEdkW3XOzMQpuDc4WTgcAepLJjzB7Z4T-DefRHA3Q3NytKtDB3RkkIkD94aY3CadCO8kEkLAdNq-y4hUXl4rJMoNtbAs98iVDP3FNCemF8GzjF5NYoQ9C7qV2Ven-ZDc2w=s2012" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2012" data-original-width="1563" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEhzOHcYDJWdp-n9lYpEezMEyLq9xyH0qLh73vzmGelr13fsQIPzbAC5CpzBeEdkW3XOzMQpuDc4WTgcAepLJjzB7Z4T-DefRHA3Q3NytKtDB3RkkIkD94aY3CadCO8kEkLAdNq-y4hUXl4rJMoNtbAs98iVDP3FNCemF8GzjF5NYoQ9C7qV2Ven-ZDc2w=s320" width="249" /></a></div>
<p style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 14px; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal; margin: 0px; min-height: 17px;"><br /></p>
<p style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 14px; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal; margin: 0px;">The box holds about 4 cards and envelopes and it’s so nice to have a few cards ready to pop in the mail when you need one. </p>
<p style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 14px; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal; margin: 0px; min-height: 17px;"><br /></p>
<p style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 14px; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal; margin: 0px;">I added a clothespin too, coloured it with the same ink and Basic Black marker pen. The flowers on the bookmark, clothespin and front detail on the box are handmade, randomly cut circles, then cut into spirals. Once rolled, I smashed them slightly to flatten them! So easy and so much fun to make. I have a tutorial on my blog <a href="https://www.blogger.com/u/0/blog/post/edit/2053069429904194875/1174971934998177376" target="_blank">here </a>showing how I made the flowers. The flowers on my box didn't flatten too much because I didn't wet the cardstock first, I wanted a more rigid flower.</p><p style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 14px; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal; margin: 0px;"><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEiUyz2NjD54GWsDZz6gnkHZnfAsqd_zXkNszy89SHk7YrNVVEVQCoi3142uGOgxTHi3VX173oRRmEhmtuWRDOBofyOFNIBDZEOkaZrV1Nx33HGlHwpdExj7Jl_mfWNaR7RGYzjFCM8WfNHxGwrW7WeecEd2LBX6UmLesViFHCMXUN4QWeuatbVbJxGooQ=s1853" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1696" data-original-width="1853" height="293" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEiUyz2NjD54GWsDZz6gnkHZnfAsqd_zXkNszy89SHk7YrNVVEVQCoi3142uGOgxTHi3VX173oRRmEhmtuWRDOBofyOFNIBDZEOkaZrV1Nx33HGlHwpdExj7Jl_mfWNaR7RGYzjFCM8WfNHxGwrW7WeecEd2LBX6UmLesViFHCMXUN4QWeuatbVbJxGooQ=s320" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEgxqju1xamoNXP3xNC48NbADZI21lj-1NoKgb_UpkgtHprWxO3ZRfKS8jZWrAvcwG4rAbIzB8kLPX54zUstK1o11LbyGC9IdUzlKUT_LUrXKO_Yo7Gf53-KUuEXgCD2ascEBRffZq-9KRNTdepNh1m13dSVklhTlla9UoZ9XoWlVjh1Q_DPJz-ZbhJ_Hg=s1493" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1085" data-original-width="1493" height="233" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEgxqju1xamoNXP3xNC48NbADZI21lj-1NoKgb_UpkgtHprWxO3ZRfKS8jZWrAvcwG4rAbIzB8kLPX54zUstK1o11LbyGC9IdUzlKUT_LUrXKO_Yo7Gf53-KUuEXgCD2ascEBRffZq-9KRNTdepNh1m13dSVklhTlla9UoZ9XoWlVjh1Q_DPJz-ZbhJ_Hg=s320" width="320" /></a></div><br /><p style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 14px; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal; margin: 0px;">The leaves are hand cut, I scored a 1” piece of Old Olive cardstock at 1/2” then folded it and hand cut various sizes of leaves. I know dandelions are not what you want in your lawn (me either) but I love them! I love the bright happy yellow clusters of flowers and when they go to seed, all those beautiful little puffy seedlings blow here and there in the wind! </span></div><p>We always try to catch one of the seed puffs because we were told as children, if you could catch one you can make a wish then let it fly off again taking your wish with it! Pure magic! </p><p>Today I’m joining the Canada Inks Up Blog Hop and we’re all sharing a card for Spring. Mine is a shabby chic vintage card featuring a fluffy dandelion.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEjEro5qgLGdszZFv9p57iQfxIHPZ9i-_BSZUu-bNHxhLDNf6stI83LabNVV02mapYvaTqmlvhSUA0vEwZIk41NAuqXN_FJvsRE89WykSIdVUCpJ_0e27Wh-mMLsL63oX2rZZZhvTVXCOtg5JPmQgll71gaYl_-NItsMtWzK7LtdPtDJMZIc01D61I5oPA=s1400" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="300" data-original-width="1400" height="47" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEjEro5qgLGdszZFv9p57iQfxIHPZ9i-_BSZUu-bNHxhLDNf6stI83LabNVV02mapYvaTqmlvhSUA0vEwZIk41NAuqXN_FJvsRE89WykSIdVUCpJ_0e27Wh-mMLsL63oX2rZZZhvTVXCOtg5JPmQgll71gaYl_-NItsMtWzK7LtdPtDJMZIc01D61I5oPA=w219-h47" width="219" /></a></div><p>The art panel is stamped randomly with images from Garden Wishes, the script from Ranunculus Romance and the vine from Very Versailles. The colours are Crushed Curry, Old Olive and Crumb Cake inks. I made the dandelion by layering the 3 flower dies in that set, first cutting into each petal, then sponging and shaping with a stylus to make them curl. </p><p>I hope you like my vintage card! Hi everyone!<br />
<br />
I have such a cute card to share with you today and another one of my Seed Packet Templates (see below) for you to download. I really had fun making this card and decided to make this little chickie waving a get well flag.<br />
<br />
The little chick is from the 2016 Sale-a-bration catalogue and it's free with a $60 (Cdn) order. The stamp set is called Honeycomb Happiness and it's just adorable...love, love, love it! <br />
<br />
I stamped the baby chick with Black Stazon on watercolour paper, then I painted him with Crushed Curry using my aqua painter. I totally painted outside the lines (because I love to and I can!) and then carefully cut him out. I did feel bad cutting off his feet but I gave him a little nest of slivered Crumb Cake that I made by cutting fine strips, then scrumpled them up, creating the perfect little nest.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh0PAv_93DYR6FJqNjCzZHjUWMuBhfnaPtvGnY9HOuKijvujZMVhRQ0qUr51_hix3SRqOWn5F30pWbWCA1dl_LfXYLtPZ-uE_dYysAU8SYiSpPhAi4f3IvUcl3CNHvpxtbQRfHj99C76OM2/s1600/IMG_3287.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh0PAv_93DYR6FJqNjCzZHjUWMuBhfnaPtvGnY9HOuKijvujZMVhRQ0qUr51_hix3SRqOWn5F30pWbWCA1dl_LfXYLtPZ-uE_dYysAU8SYiSpPhAi4f3IvUcl3CNHvpxtbQRfHj99C76OM2/s400/IMG_3287.JPG" width="325" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="text-align: start;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<span style="text-align: start;">I cut the pieces for the sentiment and outlined them with my black marker using the wide tip on it's side and the banner was cut using the little banner punch. I added the black dots with the fine tip of the same black marker. The flag pole is a narrow strip of the yellow cardstock outlined in black as well.</span></div>
<br />
The sentiment is from the Greatest Greetings stamp set and I altered my stamp a bit, I can't think of when I would say 'get well sooner' so I carefully cut off the last two letters so my stamp now says 'get well soon' which works better for me! I love the font in this greeting set...it just looks so cheerful!<br />
<br />
Isn't this such a cute little baby chick! Here's a close up of him, I coloured his beak with Tangerine Tango marker and added a little black to his eyes. I just can't get enough of this little guy!<br />
<br />

Hi everyone!<br />
<br />
I have another quick card to share with you today. I inked up the World Traveler embossing folder with Island Indigo ink, placed my card layer inside and ran it through my Big Shot.<br />
<br />
Then I used a sponge dauber and Crumb Cake ink to rub on the continents and with a little of Island Indigo residue, the colour turned a pretty shade of green. I love it when surprises happen! Next, I stamped the plane in Black Memento Ink and fussy cut it out.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgW20-CL7C9POPlwIVhg14RG3Nz2bi3Zt6xecoqA_2e7jZ5NjXymwWNd8eo79t7C4Sex8nQw_HY5SyvQ6Y5r4RfzExz4QEE2iBwOFguefmHvi-MGAyd8DfSseNdXR_foq3WljksDA6kJ68j/s1600/Antique+plane.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgW20-CL7C9POPlwIVhg14RG3Nz2bi3Zt6xecoqA_2e7jZ5NjXymwWNd8eo79t7C4Sex8nQw_HY5SyvQ6Y5r4RfzExz4QEE2iBwOFguefmHvi-MGAyd8DfSseNdXR_foq3WljksDA6kJ68j/s1600/Antique+plane.jpg" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I added some silver cording to the back of the plane on each side and then to the center of the sentiment so that it looks like the plane is flying a Happy Birthday banner.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Below is a close up of the propeller I made. I covered a scrap of cardstock with tin foil (using double sided sticky tape) and cut out a circle using the smallest circle die. Then I cut into it so that it looks like a propeller...lol...well it sort of looks like a propeller! I attached the propeller to the plane with a small brad. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhHMy2YgTrgfcDsXEQ7BAjX7yuh3SCZiyshyphenhyphenCrli8ppCcQ7AvNI8LMSOtKiKFGbg0ZxuawIB-rQ1rkET9HZ9O9_S37fcAIZXaigxxc2r9kI-hL3i2XMDcxHRdebT3liV3CakCAE_xiCwWJ8/s1600/Close+up+plane.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhHMy2YgTrgfcDsXEQ7BAjX7yuh3SCZiyshyphenhyphenCrli8ppCcQ7AvNI8LMSOtKiKFGbg0ZxuawIB-rQ1rkET9HZ9O9_S37fcAIZXaigxxc2r9kI-hL3i2XMDcxHRdebT3liV3CakCAE_xiCwWJ8/s1600/Close+up+plane.jpg" /></a></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
To finish, I distressed the art piece layer on all sides, layered it on a black panel, then to the Island Indigo card base.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
This card was fun, easy and I got lots of ink on my fingers too! What could be better!<br />
<br />
I hope you're having a great day, thanks so much for stopping by to visit me!<br />
<br />
Hugs ~ Judy</div>

<br />
Here's a card I made with the free Sale-a-bration stamp set 'Hello'. As soon as I saw this set I knew I had to pair it with Timeless Textures. I love how this card turned out, it's done with Gold embossing, Very Vanilla and Crumb Cake...one of my favourite colour combinations.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjxhO_abK66DGsH8ww1XbpUGFSKK_BJ4qg7bUoMIATDZ7hEnlIw-Glje6GgJjd0_BlMePd-Zwu_RJ5Glwme7LFA1CfCHvq662jgvXIPRstnxAFjkQbUwa5CmWZbIJEjvwQrosZRgQ8jHM7s/s1600/Shabby+Chic+Hello.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjxhO_abK66DGsH8ww1XbpUGFSKK_BJ4qg7bUoMIATDZ7hEnlIw-Glje6GgJjd0_BlMePd-Zwu_RJ5Glwme7LFA1CfCHvq662jgvXIPRstnxAFjkQbUwa5CmWZbIJEjvwQrosZRgQ8jHM7s/s400/Shabby+Chic+Hello.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
I stamped the Hello and Birthday sentiment with VersaMark, then gold embossed it. Next I added the Texture stamp along the bottom and side edges, (using VersaMark again) and gold embossed that as well. I randomly stamped the rest of the images in Crumb Cake until I was happy with the effect.<br />
<br />
Here's a close up of the little flower I added to the twine. I love this little flower! I used the small flower die from Botanical Builder Framelits, sponged the flower with Crumb cake and added the Soft Suede center with a gold rhinestone to finish it. I shaped the flower using a foam pad and a stylus.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I hope you like my card today...this card just makes me happy! Thanks so much for stopping by to share your time with me!<br />

Hi guys! I just had to share what made me smile today!<br />
<br />
Today was such a busy day, but Gary and I took some time out to go for a walk this morning in one of my favourite spots, Rocky Point Park...just minutes from where we live. It made my soul happy to walk in the park by the ocean with my favourite guy!<br />
<br />
Here's what my happy looks like!<br />

<br />
Here's one of my new cards to share with you. I love Pink Pirouette, it's such a soft pretty colour and it's definitely one of my favourite things. I'm really happy with the way it turned out. Sometimes the image in my head doesn't turn out when I start to play but this card did!<br />
<br />
Here is a close up of the detail, the new Bloomin' Heart Thinlits die is so pretty and intricate. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiQAx5ld3gzF5KWaC21Zu8kmLjhe-D7LBGsvJh-MuzW6YbqSdOczYAfuf5vazVUf0dvX13QM5OGgRkA3aTnUb7WKjmeZK7iQUdNeeyJuPcabWFVesdyPI1sJ6Pb0jKoXEdPHJPJAVSEhmk9/s1600/Pink+Heart+Close+Up.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiQAx5ld3gzF5KWaC21Zu8kmLjhe-D7LBGsvJh-MuzW6YbqSdOczYAfuf5vazVUf0dvX13QM5OGgRkA3aTnUb7WKjmeZK7iQUdNeeyJuPcabWFVesdyPI1sJ6Pb0jKoXEdPHJPJAVSEhmk9/s1600/Pink+Heart+Close+Up.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
I punched flowers to place on the cut out heart, the large ones from the Petite Petals punch and for the small ones I used the flower punch from Itty Bitty Accents. I crumpled them and separated the cardstock, adhered them to the cut out heart and added a pearl. Then to finish I couldn't resist adding a touch of clear Wink of Stella.<br />
<br />
I also embossed the background panel with the Lovely Lace embossing folder and added ribbon to the side. Then to finish I added another layered flower. I popped the Blooming' Heart die up with dimensionals. <br />
<br />
Here's a close up of my card, isn't it pretty...hmmm... love it!<br />

Well hi everyone! <br />
<br />
I finally found my way back to my blog and hope to spend more time here sharing with you. I can only say that life and family has been keeping me busy, not necessarily out of mischief but busy! I had my second knee replacement surgery one year ago and I'm feeling better and better all the time. My sweet little granddaughter is 3 ½ already and I've loved every second watching her change and grow.<br />
<br />
I want to send a heartfelt thank you to all of you for continuing to follow my blog in spite of my absence! To all my new subscribers, well....I just have to say Wow... thank you so much for joining me here where I love to share some of my favourite things! I am so happy you're all here and amazed that you have found me even though I've been away from blogging. <br />
<br />
To start off the New Year, I've revamped one of my old New Year's cards, you can see the original <a href="http://judyscraftroom.blogspot.ca/2014/01/surpriseits-me.html">here</a> as well as the free download page of my New Years text. I love the addition of the sequins, I think it needed a little jazzing up! <br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiubokYAtMEPo43rynaNIk4KwtAAa9x2-Cfr2jzRg3dpT6Q-1uIIU0jYkz5JusJeTiSn0bQlwNsguJTElh2X89x5x5gjtKuKGEUd8pPYlUuQmgfsggKdL-y0Z2TBiSH3qtFvedCz1zXf7QU/s1600/Watermarked+Photo.jpg" imageanchor="1"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiubokYAtMEPo43rynaNIk4KwtAAa9x2-Cfr2jzRg3dpT6Q-1uIIU0jYkz5JusJeTiSn0bQlwNsguJTElh2X89x5x5gjtKuKGEUd8pPYlUuQmgfsggKdL-y0Z2TBiSH3qtFvedCz1zXf7QU/s400/Watermarked+Photo.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
And now, I will raise my glass of bubbly to you. I'm wishing you a very happy and healthy New Year filled with love, laughter and warm friendships. I wish you success in all you do and joy in all things great and small. And to quote one of my favourite Irish Blessings, may you have a sunbeam to warm you, a moonbeam to charm you, and a sheltering angel, so nothing can harm you!<br />
<br />
I'm really looking forward to the new year, I have so many things I'd like to do....I'm not calling them resolutions but rather goals!<br />
<br />
Happy New Year everyone!! Thanks so much for stopping by to share your time with me.<br />

<br />
Thank you so much for all your emails...you guys sure know how to make a girl feel loved :) Some of you have asked who or what is LilyBean? LilyBean is my sweet little kitty cat...well she's really not so little, all 17 pounds of her (!) but she is so gentle and loving, I love her to bits!<br />
<br />
Here's the seed template for you, I hope you have fun making them! Feel free to share and I'd love to see what you come up with! I will soon have my updated flower seed packets to share with you as well, I just need a bit of time to make a sample or two so be sure to check back in with me :)<br />

<div style="text-align: left;">
Hi everyone, it's a blustery rainy day today and I have lots of new things to share, I just haven't had a minute to sit down and post them! I had so much fun making this card from one of my seed packet templates that I just had to sit down for a minute and share it with you. </div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
There's not any stamping on my card except for the sentiment on the inside. There is some sponging though :) I sponged clouds with Soft Sky ink using a scrap of cardstock that I cut to look like the bumps of cloud shapes. I pulled the ink starting on the template, off towards the seed packet, moving it at different angles to give the illusion of clouds.</div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgKYbCWTmqeLnhufvr09o1eoILDrN0i70bOFQqWFilgFKg-nFXpy-Sg045NAUjJ_xtCuzIPbgun9rxS4IBb5p8MQULzk7Q38hJTW7lVdiy1vcSrHs-0Fis90XAgmxp9il4MlSZa6cjB6Nlu/s1600/IMG_7933.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgKYbCWTmqeLnhufvr09o1eoILDrN0i70bOFQqWFilgFKg-nFXpy-Sg045NAUjJ_xtCuzIPbgun9rxS4IBb5p8MQULzk7Q38hJTW7lVdiy1vcSrHs-0Fis90XAgmxp9il4MlSZa6cjB6Nlu/s1600/IMG_7933.jpeg" height="400" width="335" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The little bunnies are die cuts from Impression Obsession, I used Baked Brown Sugar and sponged them with Early Espresso, then I used a black pen for their eyes. The fence is a Martha Halloween punch and I trimmed off the bats and sponged the pickets in Smokey Slate. I also sponged the grass lightly with Wild Wasabi. For the lettuce I used a tiny piece cut from the new Spiral Flower die, cutting a piece of green crepe paper and rolled it up to form the cabbage.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I fringed a piece of Wild Wasabi with the new Fringe Scissors and fiddled around making tufts of grass to poke between the fence pickets. The little flowers were punched with an old punch I got from the Dollar Store. For the flowers I used Crushed Curry, dotted the centre with a black pen and then shaped them on an old mouse pad.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The cardstock was embossed with a Chicken Wire folder from Cuttlebug on Pool Party cardstock and the ribbon is Pool Party seam binding. I had so much fun making this card, I especially love the little bunny hopping over the fence! </div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
I just had to share one more card in this post :) This was another card I had in my head, so had to take a moment to put it together :) </div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgbEKbM2lfY_oDsPFzY86UOFg92Fkp4GdqI4Y4OZnG2elEwPD_8LE4gsRuFBIyUFVqZZUonWE4GogRYfu3EU4CGPZtDlMQAwmCbBN2emEU7gDZDgjlFnSbYKJyMUpa7ubtcU3tRN8-qW9Kz/s1600/IMG_7935.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgbEKbM2lfY_oDsPFzY86UOFg92Fkp4GdqI4Y4OZnG2elEwPD_8LE4gsRuFBIyUFVqZZUonWE4GogRYfu3EU4CGPZtDlMQAwmCbBN2emEU7gDZDgjlFnSbYKJyMUpa7ubtcU3tRN8-qW9Kz/s1600/IMG_7935.jpeg" height="400" width="321" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="text-align: start;"> I sponged the dirt with Soft Suede ink, then drew (with a pencil) a couple of mounds to define the dirt. The carrots are made with the Petite Pennants Builder Punch using Pumpkin Pie cardstock and it's sponged with Soft Suede ink, then I pencilled in a few little carrot detail thingies. </span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="text-align: start;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="text-align: start;">The carrot tops are made by fringing a piece of green crepe paper, then are attached with a dab of Tombow glue. The cardstock is Wild Wasabi, and after embossing with the Chicken Wire embossing folder I sponged the raised embossing with the same ink. </span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="text-align: start;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="text-align: start;">Super easy card and so much fun to make! </span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="text-align: start;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="text-align: start;">Thanks so much for stopping by today and for being patient with my off and on again postings! I love your visits, thanks for sharing your time with me! </span></div>

<br />
Just a quick card to share with you today, it's made with the Shop Around Wheel. I unmounted the rubber stamp from the wheel and I really like the way it stamps :) I've amounted all my wheel stamps and I find I use them way more...such fun!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgmiWc3idVS8XQ2roPKplzyhSp84W5563yEfNBbirJPIV-rZZaXDB_v9fmn2UDP8JP2Dxu8ojNcjhGQxQjiSMT3xygonpzb1YPXevOPDyK3NBijwYlyZVfJm1GcsoeYDR8a4DHu_GUgnImc/s1600/Vintage+Shop+Around.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgmiWc3idVS8XQ2roPKplzyhSp84W5563yEfNBbirJPIV-rZZaXDB_v9fmn2UDP8JP2Dxu8ojNcjhGQxQjiSMT3xygonpzb1YPXevOPDyK3NBijwYlyZVfJm1GcsoeYDR8a4DHu_GUgnImc/s1600/Vintage+Shop+Around.JPG" height="400" width="345" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I stamped the unmounted wheel in VersaMark ink and then embossed it with White Embossing Powder on Whisper White Cardstock. Next I cut the images out by frames and sponged first with Marina Mist then over sponged with Pacific Point. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The background paper is Beau Chateau (I think!) and it's retired, I sponged it as well. I cut a paper doily in half and gave it some sponging too. I was going to use my beautiful Vintage Buttons but I couldn't find them in my mess of a craft room...I was lucky to find my table! I need to clean up and I'm sure I'll find a few things that have gone missing :) So instead, I used the retired Organza roses and did more sponging. All of the sponging was done with Marina Mist ink.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I punched the leaves using the Bird punch branch....I can never remember what that punch is called! To finish it I added a bit of Dazzling Details to the doily, leaves and flowers.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Thanks so much for stopping by today to share your time with me! I love your visits :)</div>

<br />
Well I had a bit of a tussle when I made this card! I had originally used the beautiful stamp set by Emily Montoya called Spread the Joy. I made it for my last card class and realized the day before my class that this beautiful set is no longer available. Oh no... I hope they bring it back, it's so sweet and whimsical.<br />
<br />
I was so disappointed and since I had my heart set on this style of card but didn't want to use the unavailable stamp set, (I find it so annoying when you can't get something you've used in a class)....so... I made my own set of words and printed them off to share with everyone at the class. I'm including them here for you to download in case you like them as well. Here's a close up for you...<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjaL2l-K7FFcWsBBTMDYX58Yz61ytlLj-j5uIZCkKU8-i2sUMzLxmSEpOsColpdjoxTgsbsR8hOjhegq87mIfn7Ac2WIpOjvGhOOTqGAmxXonVNO2KQP8bXbS1zg6h-cJgVHXeXbTtTrJLd/s1600/Focal+Point.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjaL2l-K7FFcWsBBTMDYX58Yz61ytlLj-j5uIZCkKU8-i2sUMzLxmSEpOsColpdjoxTgsbsR8hOjhegq87mIfn7Ac2WIpOjvGhOOTqGAmxXonVNO2KQP8bXbS1zg6h-cJgVHXeXbTtTrJLd/s1600/Focal+Point.JPG" height="320" width="211" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
And here's the full card<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
To make this card I used the SAB 2014 Decorative Dots Embossing Folder for the background and tied a bow with Pink Organza ribbon that I got at my local packaging store. I stamped the flourish (using Early Espresso) using the Layered Labels stamp set and then die cut it with the Adorning Accents Framelit die. The cardstock is Pink Pirouette and Very Vanilla.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I drew an oval line around the words and then cut it out, then I highlighted the phrases I wanted to use with Versamark and rubbed pink eyeshadow over top of the ink. This is a great use for odd coloured eyeshadows that come in a pack with a colour you must have! I sponged the edges of the die and layer with Early Espresso and added the die cut to the card base with dimensionals. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The flowers were made by punching out 3 flowers with the new Petite Petals Punch and after crumpling them, I carefully separated each flower into two, (Faux Suede Technique). Using a glue dot, I adhered two petals together, fuzzy side up and added a small pearl to the centre of each flower. I reshaped the flower with my fingers. I love these delicate looking blooms :) </div>
<br />
Well, that's it for my today share, I really like how soft and pretty it turned out. Thanks so much for stopping by to share your time with me!<br />

<br />
Today's card is super easy! I love the new little banner punch! My card size today is 4 x 4 so it's a quick and easy card when you need one in a hurry! <br />
<br />
I've seen lot's of these style of cards online, but it seems a bit tricky to line up the string to hang the banners on, so I made a faux string..lol...I attached the banners with a glue dot then I used black embroidery thread to make the bows and put a tiny line with a black marker to make it look as it they are strung together.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
It's kind of hard to see the card base, it's black with a white layer embossed with the new Arrows Embossing folder. The DSP is Modern Medley, after the banners were punched, I edged each of them with the brush tip using the Black Marker. The Hearts are punched out of the Red Glimmer Paper. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Quick and easy...gotta love it! I hope you like it :) Thanks so much for stopping by to visit me today! </div>

Hi everyone! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Happy New Year...I wanted to send this late wish rather than none at all! So Happy New Year everyone, I hope it's a wonderful year ahead for you filled with love, laughter, good health, good friends and of course a little dash of mischief tucked in for good measure!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I also want to tell you all how much I appreciate you, I can see that I still have lots of you following my blog and to my complete surprise and wonder, lots of you are newcomers and have joined me even though I've not been updating my blog since....oh my..gosh...last summer! So thank you for coming to my little corner of the world to check in on me and welcome! I love to have your company on my ramblings and its fun to share my creations with you too. I appreciate you all so much, big hugs from me to you!!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Here's a close up showing the focal point of the card I made, Champagne glasses of course! I designed a New Year's background page that I'm hoping will show up here (!) so that you can click on it and print it out for your own use...fingers crossed that it will work! </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I've been trying to totally convert my things from my old PC and so after updating my Mac with Windows I think I might be onto something, that is with lots of help from my son for installing it, teaching me new things and his reminders to use Dropbox. If this works, I'll be so pleased and it will be easier to share here on my blog rather than sending individual emails to share. Hope it works!!</div>

<br />
I'm back from a wonderful summer holiday with my family, we had so much fun. We went to Victoria on Vancouver Island for a few days, shopping for tea and chocolates, mingling with all the tourists and celebrating Canada Day there. Then we went on to Parksville and played on the beach for a few days, it's my absolute favourite place to go. <br />
<br />
We walked on the beach, played in the tide pools and totally relaxed. At night we watched the changing tides and the unbelievable sunsets...I had to share one of my many pictures with you. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
I hope you enjoy this photo of our beautiful west coast beach sunset...awesome, isn't it? I can't wait to go back! <br />
<br />
We ended our holiday in Whistler, walked, played in the pool and enjoyed the Farmers Market which gets bigger every year and it's so much fun to see all the displays. There is everything from yummy baked goods, to handmade jewelry, fresh fruit and veggies, lots of crafty things, it was great fun! <br />
<br />
Now I'm home, I'll be getting back into my craft room soon to share some cards with you, just getting all the laundry done, groceries bought and setting the house back to normal after being away! Hope you're enjoying your summer time too! Our weather has been fabulous...finally!!<br />
<br />
Thanks so much for stopping by to share your time with me!<br />

<br />
I just finished a card for a challenge that was posted on <a href="http://www.palspaperarts.com/">Pals Paper Arts</a>. It was an interesting sketch but the thought of putting different patterns of DSP together on one card...well that is way out of my comfort zone! LOL...guess what? It was fun and I was really happy with the way my card turned out! Sketches are a lovely way to get my creative muse back! Here is the sketch:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgxfarguv1rIFIh55SxT3ElLd0Pl8h49T_b7xSqU30CIu6oesGc0kOJS4o_MGHke-1sDqrNVCqcA2HHabh5na4xxCujQFkD3RwYcZ7IEX0U_nuSlNfbIejbG-I8qjX0fuh89IlX2wHg6K9L/s1600/Paper+Pals+Arts.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="198" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgxfarguv1rIFIh55SxT3ElLd0Pl8h49T_b7xSqU30CIu6oesGc0kOJS4o_MGHke-1sDqrNVCqcA2HHabh5na4xxCujQFkD3RwYcZ7IEX0U_nuSlNfbIejbG-I8qjX0fuh89IlX2wHg6K9L/s200/Paper+Pals+Arts.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I used 3 different Designer Papers from Stampin'Up! (all retired) but all from the same package and I can't remember the name of them....I'm a bit of a paper hoarder! This was the hard part for me, mixing DSP...not something I've done before! It was great to have a sketch too! Anyway, here's the card I came up with...hope you like it!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhZTcAK0oX9fgvoVBsfKIe56WIm09FtZsdKrTUPlgLIBWAzWaldDZWgA5a7RfOWWypzWNa-CU2fK8E4J-0TbMp4NlMJp9aaCqu5l2gg48yZVmR7yqJch3jBnMvRnYgRaO_bPxC1DwibxGbH/s1600/photo+copy.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhZTcAK0oX9fgvoVBsfKIe56WIm09FtZsdKrTUPlgLIBWAzWaldDZWgA5a7RfOWWypzWNa-CU2fK8E4J-0TbMp4NlMJp9aaCqu5l2gg48yZVmR7yqJch3jBnMvRnYgRaO_bPxC1DwibxGbH/s1600/photo+copy.jpg" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
I used a black card base of 4 1/2" x 4 1/2" The art piece is Very Vanilla, I stamped the ship from the 'Open Sea' in Black Stazon, used my new 'Gorgeous Grunge' for the water and stamped it in Crumb Cake. I also sponged the clouds in Crumb Cake as well. <br />
<br />
Here's a close up of the clouds..love how they turned out! For the template I freehand cut a piece of cardstock to look like a cloud, placed the template down and sponged away from the template, moving it around as I sponged.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiilM_mxJj_LOfA-scFiuLpV4pTvC9SWbbib-3hxOheipGRQJ0mXHvQ_s2FZJufVlkew66kk8PCM2sePp4bVYT7tbYjLTjQFhK8UVRnH6-_Gry7EG0q9eImnop7Dsfje60Pstuq4bCmWtz3/s1600/photo+copy+4.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiilM_mxJj_LOfA-scFiuLpV4pTvC9SWbbib-3hxOheipGRQJ0mXHvQ_s2FZJufVlkew66kk8PCM2sePp4bVYT7tbYjLTjQFhK8UVRnH6-_Gry7EG0q9eImnop7Dsfje60Pstuq4bCmWtz3/s1600/photo+copy+4.jpeg" /></a></div>
<br />
The little banner is from Affection Collection (retired) and stamped in Black Stazon, cut and mounted with dimensionals. Then I added a small bow to finish it. <br />
<br />
For the final touch I made an envelope to fit and lined it with the same designer paper that I used on the card...pretty...I love finishing touches! That was a fun challenge!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgIuuOQXnJfCJygBWi5xpHEtEurgJbL2JU4WdZSvKBWAuA8P8gWLxc6ov9CISjovnfTDRHoG1HgWg43nEnzkzR830k3oc7MekWFOizK4Rmq6BximdnbekndDBB6ef0hWdajOtfQYtzX71zW/s1600/photo+copy+3.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgIuuOQXnJfCJygBWi5xpHEtEurgJbL2JU4WdZSvKBWAuA8P8gWLxc6ov9CISjovnfTDRHoG1HgWg43nEnzkzR830k3oc7MekWFOizK4Rmq6BximdnbekndDBB6ef0hWdajOtfQYtzX71zW/s1600/photo+copy+3.JPG" /></a></div>

<br /></div>
<div>
LOL...can you believe it? I'm posting again...yay!! </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I fell in love with <a href="http://stampinanne.blogspot.ca/2012/05/shabby-chic-for-our-creative-corner.html">this card</a> by Anne Marie Hile. It's so pretty, I just had to case it!! This card uses 3 stamps sets that are recently retired, I don't know about you but I can't part with my favourites! </div>
<div>
<br />
The Bingo background is a new purchase for me, I told myself that I didn't need it even when it went on the retirement list. My daughter decided she had to have it and then I began to see lots of possibilities with it...isn't that crazy? So I used it for a class and it got a bit inky so I ordered another one and gave her the new one. I mean you can't snitch someones new stamp and then give it back all inky...lol...if she gets it inky, well that's okay!</div>
<div>

<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I inked up the Bingo background and the Eiffel Tower with Early Espresso, then stamped the Medallions with Crumb Cake. The water spots are stamped in Crumb Cake too. I made the pink ruffle by punching out a strip with the Dotted Scallop Border punch, then ran it through my crimper and attached it behind the oval art piece. You can click on the picture for a larger image.<br />
<br />
I made a big bow with some cream organza ribbon (non SU) and then melted it with my heat gun to give it a shabby vintage look, then I placed one of SU organza flowers (now retired) in the centre. I added 3 small pearls to the side of the art piece. <br />
<br />
I hope you like my vintage card... I love, love, love this style!<br />
<br />
Thanks so much for stopping by to share your time with me!<br />

Okay...now onto some sharing! Here's my card below, cased from Joan Robertson at The Daily Stampede. I found her work on Pinterest and loved everything about <a href="http://www.dailystampede.com/stampin-up-mash-up/dailystampede22313/">her card</a>.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The stamps I used were, Daring Adventure (retired), Open Sea, and Netting Background (also retired). I used a Crumb Cake base and Whisper White layer. I did all the stamping using the new Smokey Slate Ink, although in the picture it looks more brown! I used Island Indigo for the sponging, such a fun and easy card to make!</div>

<br />
I've been away from my blog for so long that I actually had to think a minute to remember how to do a post...now that's pretty bad! I want to say thank you so much for continuing to check in on me and I want to send all of my new subscribers a big hug and thanks so much for joining me here on my blog.<br />
<br />
Things at my house have been super busy, I've been having lots of family time and of course lots of cuddles and kisses from my sweet little granddaughter, oh my...she's so much fun! Here's a picture my daughter took of her before Christmas, what a little cutie!!<br />
<br />
Waiting for Santa<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhPMIkR10YwQaQcbj9er2yjnefe2eRQaNdD6DZFxi4tLENDCOeViB7A79M3pG_QyVzQMBK5eE1HVw0ArBPx_unA1ieslOqO1E8qGBcqgP3uwvo4f7TZE3mgRW8y-rx3usB3xuJgUioWcI_i/s1600/IMG_2864.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhPMIkR10YwQaQcbj9er2yjnefe2eRQaNdD6DZFxi4tLENDCOeViB7A79M3pG_QyVzQMBK5eE1HVw0ArBPx_unA1ieslOqO1E8qGBcqgP3uwvo4f7TZE3mgRW8y-rx3usB3xuJgUioWcI_i/s320/IMG_2864.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
We had a great Christmas but we all got that awful Norovirus flu and it left us feeling worn out, thank goodness our little darling didn't get it! We're all recovered now, but I haven't been stamping for ages and I'm hoping my muse hasn't left me!!<br />
<br />
Here is the Christmas card I made this year....each year I run out of time, so I just made a few to send out and *gasp*... I actually bought cards to send out this year! I keep telling myself that I'll be more organized but I really think that I need to do a few each month so I don't need to resort to buying cards again! LOL!! The card turned out really pretty, it didn't take a good photo though. <br />
<br />
I used Pink Pirouette and double embossed the layer using the Polka Dot and Tulip Frame embossing folders. I used silver glimmer paper for the snowflakes, adding a rhinestone in the centres and the image is clip art from the internet, matted on Pool Party cardstock. I added dazzling diamonds to the image but it doesn't show in the photo...so pretty though!<br />

<br />
I would like to wish you all a very happy and healthy New Year, full of all the things that are special to you! I wish you joy, peace, the love of family and friends and buckets full of creativity and the time to enjoy crafting! <br />
<br />
Thanks so much for visiting me and for sharing your time with me today! It's good to be back, I missed you!! <br />

Hope you're having a great summer wherever you are! Here on the southwest coast, we are having rain, rain, rain...I still have my furnace on and yesterday I actually turned the heat up a teensy bit! Crazy! It seems like each part of the country has one extreme or the other. <br />
<br />
I made a dreamy beach scene with the new stamp set "By the Seashore" I love this set and love how the card turned out! It reminds me of one of my favourite beach spots in Parksville on Vancouver Island. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjGcafhgEGQ4QTYAXwcq0WzB7z9VPOFZ0N3cvsx6YVcDMDsDkuyd_cSfB5jKCi-bzG25OJreeBBL-PlwmMWkiwGk0UnyIH-JTSqtmzrGv7qR2I5Siic9zCg6E_qn2hfPefMDiat3nC5DVUK/s1600/IMG_0969.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="250" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjGcafhgEGQ4QTYAXwcq0WzB7z9VPOFZ0N3cvsx6YVcDMDsDkuyd_cSfB5jKCi-bzG25OJreeBBL-PlwmMWkiwGk0UnyIH-JTSqtmzrGv7qR2I5Siic9zCg6E_qn2hfPefMDiat3nC5DVUK/s320/IMG_0969.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
This card was super easy to make! I tore a piece of card stock to sponge the waves and used the straight side for the horizon and sponged Baja Breeze ink on Baja Breeze card stock. My white gel pen dried up so I used my white craft reinker, squeezed a little blob out and painted on the whitecaps with a toothpick and then smudged it with my finger...love getting inky!! I drew the seagulls with the toothpick/reinker as well. The clouds were sponged with the white craft ink pad. It's prettier in real life!<br />
<br />
I stamped the shells and starfish on VeryVanilla using Basic Gray ink and then sponged Baja Breeze and Pretty in Pink on them and cut them out. I used a glue pen and sprinkled some decorator sand onto my card layer (got the sand at M's) then I adhered the shells/starfish using Tombow green glue.<br />
<br />
I made a little bow with hemp twine and added it to the sentiment which is raised on a dimensional. The mat layer is Crumb Cake. <br />
<br />
Hope you like my dreamy card...are you ready for the beach? The forecast is for some sun this week, which is really good to hear, I think we're all getting webbed feet here on the coast!<br />
<br />
Thanks so much for stopping by to share your time with me!<br />

These flowers are so much fun to make and quick and easy too. I saved Julie's video ages ago and hope you enjoy it too.<br />
<br />

<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhCwaMTE3914426W5tWlZqf92UIMLQdzywM7_AxUstmlrB0dD0-tqx_MJmqCxJP1_3PeERhsJj7yTWu8aaO6rPkthFazLW3ilucyQNEbUFFwwSq55KHQ_f-J5deAu-Z-zda3Xk1hGMV92hh/s1600/IMG_0829.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="276" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhCwaMTE3914426W5tWlZqf92UIMLQdzywM7_AxUstmlrB0dD0-tqx_MJmqCxJP1_3PeERhsJj7yTWu8aaO6rPkthFazLW3ilucyQNEbUFFwwSq55KHQ_f-J5deAu-Z-zda3Xk1hGMV92hh/s320/IMG_0829.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I used the stamp set Fabulous Florets and heat embossed the main flower with Melon Mambo embossing powder. Here's a close up of the mini flower I made. I used the retired 3 Flower Punch from the Clearance Rack, and my favourite Boho Blossoms Punch as well. I used the star flower for the leaf base instead of the shape Julie used.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhzKjbdoXbXL6MwWUtCiWUBywodrcHTZKX7QbJLAt9vezqpYlv5P3FPczd1fDxW0KT0kl5N9H67lan1U6z6fF2fkbNnH6guCPFngb9-moXmJ306igc4leNX-VU83TnI98LISGPbmU3mszyE/s1600/IMG_0831.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhzKjbdoXbXL6MwWUtCiWUBywodrcHTZKX7QbJLAt9vezqpYlv5P3FPczd1fDxW0KT0kl5N9H67lan1U6z6fF2fkbNnH6guCPFngb9-moXmJ306igc4leNX-VU83TnI98LISGPbmU3mszyE/s320/IMG_0831.JPG" width="239" /></a></div>
<br />
So I picked up the card to show her and my flower was missing....the cat burglar strikes again!! My darling LilyBean had spotted the flower and pulled it off....glue dot and all! What a little mischief she is!! She's forever swiping flowers off my craft table and making off with them...but this is the first time that she actually picked one off one of my cards! LOL!<br />
<br />
This is the card that I showed my daughter and realized the flower was missing! So we made another one to finish the card...one more time! It's been a week since the flower went missing and I still haven't found it! Hope she hid it and didn't actually eat it! Oh my....!!<br />
<br />
